Review: This book was definitely one of the more dramatic ones in the series. Somehow, while in the midst of murder and mayhem, I feel all cozy and intrigued by Ellie's personal dilemmas.
While her magic is growing stronger every day, and she's surrounded in secrets and struggles of her own, Ellie manages to sign up for her town's "Mayor for a Day" campaign, only to get wrapped up in a shocking murder mystery.
With the help of Penelope and Mona, and her friends, Ellie embarks on a wild ride, full of "whodunnits" and slandering campaigners to dodge, while figuring out her feelings, and pondering over her missing mother's status. I must say, this book has a mild cliffhanger in regards to Ellie's personal life. There are SO many questions that demand another book (which I found out Stella is currently working on, "Jamboree Justice").
