Review: Hawk is the tattooed guy next door. Quiet and rough around the edges, but protective and loving towards the family of friends he gathered. Drew is not the typical tattoo shop employee with her slacks but when it comes to being a single mom, you do what you have to do.

You'll witness Drew's struggles as she goes through being a newly single mother of a talented daughter, working towards a better future, and getting hit with curveballs. While Hawk is attractive, he's hard to read and Drew keeps her distance until Hawk can't stop himself from stepping up and taking care of them. But the big question is, can he handle the curveballs and step up when he's really needed?

Kat Savage is a wonderful author and I thoroughly enjoyed this romance with an "opposites attract" vibe. I am excited to read more of her work as it is well written, emotionally and realistically relatable, and imaginatively like watching a movie in my head.
