Review: Must Love Humans surprised me at how adorably human vampires can be. I fell hard for Leo, the old vampire who looks 26 and acts like a modern Mr. Darcy (just missing the dryness and the hand flex... IYKYK right). The novella started with Leo starting off a little rough, moping and still in a mild spiral after losing his mate 80 years prior. While he swore he could never move on, he is blessed with a second chance mate.

This novella goes on a fun little date with Leo and his sexy librarian mate, Harper. She is a bit of an enigma, not learning much about her other than her feistiness, childhood with a singing mom, and being a librarian. Every little detail from their first meeting to getting ready for their date, to the date itself is adorably fun. I'd consider this novella to be a paranormal romantic comedy, slow burn with an intense finale. It's like giggling while playing with matches and then the flame ignites. I look forward to reading more of Amanda's books in the future.
