Review: Wow. What a emotional rollercoaster. This has been one of the best books I've read in 2022. If you're a fan of Colleen Hoover, this is a must read. I feel like I lost part of my soul to this book and I'm ok with that.

We'd Know By Then is a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers, soulmates and forced proximity story. Set in a world where everything is in shades of "the Grey" until you find your soulmate, a few people have been able to see color since they could remember and no one really knows why. For those who cannot see color, once they get "the Glimpse", the first eye contact with their true soul mate, their worlds explode with color. For those who have already seen with color, they go through life with uncertainty while on their search for their other half.

We start out meeting Brighton, a fully technicolor woman, who lives with her roommate, best friend and chosen sister, Andi. I would describe her as a creative and kind hearted character, but cynical when it comes to love and soulmates. Having "the Glimpse" has made some things difficult in her life, but she has a beautiful career and an interesting relationship.

She meets Cain in an airport bar, and they have the most serendipitous meetings throughout the first quarter of the book. They end up becoming best friends, with is roommate Eli and Andi. You'll get to witness them having ups and downs, scream at your book because you don't understand some of these decisions the characters are making, spiral into a fictional world where you experience love blossoming, realizations hit, and souls connect, tear, grow, and more. If you think you can guess what happens, don't because you probably won't get it right. And believe me, finding out every little twist and turn in this book is a beautiful ride you don't want to miss.
