Review: TAfter reading 'Must Love Humans', I was excited to pick up 'Monster Roommate'. If you love vampires, shifters, ghosts, etc, you definitely want to check this out. It is an enemies to lovers trope, a lot of supernatural vibes, and some funny tv culture comparisons. I absolutely enjoyed how Leo (from Must Love Humans) had a moment or two in this book, and can't wait to see how Amanda Aggie creates more novels in this supernatural universe she's created.

Landon definitely got on my nerves at first. He has this "protective wall" attitude and wasn't afraid to use it. Having a history of love related trauma, I can understand him wanting to protect his heart but dude, come on. But I guess that's the humanity showing in the vampire.

As for Nora, I definitely do not want to live as a ghost after witnessing her frustration of being confined to a house for 6 months. I will admit, I was not expecting the method of her unaliving. I couldn't tell if I wanted to laugh or cringe and realized, with my luck, I'd probably be unalived in a similar fashion.

Landon and Nora together cracked me up. I feel like Nora is a ghost version of Lorelai Gilmore sometimes and Landon is a brooding vampire who doesn't want to be attracted to her. When Halloween rolls around and the veil gets thin, the story really starts rolling and I'm hoping there's going to be a book 2 because I need more of these two, or at least have them featured in other people's stories.

There are some steamy scenes so 17+ age recommended. Overall, thanks for the laughs, the emotional stress, and the occasional cringe. I enjoyed being immersed in the books enough to feel what the characters are going through.
